A great time was had by all last night as we kicked off the 10th season of the HFL. Only 1 rule change was added for the upcoming season. There will be a new auction style waiver system in effect. ESPN added this feature to their game and there will be more information coming as to how this will work. As soon as the commissioner gets all the details, there will be a followup email. Stay tuned.

FANTASY BIO:
Congratulations to Michael Benson owner of Imyerdaddy for winning his 3rd* HFL Championship! He will take home the largest 1st prize in the history of the HFL thanks to the completion of our first year in operation as a 12 team league. Also, congratulations go to Jim Sheridan for taking 2nd place on the strength of his draft! He made only 1 transaction all year. Outstanding! Congratulations to Nate Whisenhunt for his 3rd place showing in his rookie year as well as our other rookies for their playoff appearances.
Here is the take for the top 3:
* The total pot is $565 ($420 entrance fees + $145.00 transaction fees and fines)
Prizes before deductions:
1st - $367.25
2nd - $141.25
3rd - $56.50
Here
is a list of money owed from each owner. The top 3 don't have to
pay because your fees owed will be deducted from your earnings. (note:
4 of you paid $2.00 extra dollars at the draft, so I counted it toward
your transaction fees. The numbers below reflect what is owed, not
what you actually spent in transactions)
Jimmy - 1.00 (will deduct from winnings)
Ben - 1.00
Alan - 3.00
Adam - 11.00
Marcus - 17.00
Tina - 9.00
Mike - 12.00 (will deduct from winnings)
Todd. - 9.00
Rob - 22.00
Brad - 17.00
Nate - 20.00 (will deduct from winnings)
Bobby 15.00
*Note:
the $420.00 in entrance fees does not include the $3.00 league dues
each owner paid as that is used for trophy engraving, draft software,
and other administrative fees.
